Itor, the world of adventure

Itor is split into 7 regions:

  • The Dead Island to the east
  • The Flat Wastes to the north
  • The Sutron Kingdom to the west
  • The Kidia Kingdom to the south
  • The Shrewtrie Mountains
  • The Culon Republic on the east coast
  • The Sara Empire connected to the Flat Wastes

With the exception of the Flat Wastes and the Dead Island each region is populated with all manner of humanoids. The continent is filled with all sorts of fauna and flora each more magnificent and eccentric than the last. This along with civilisations long lost means adventures never lack adventure. There's always something new around the corner waiting to be uncovered.

Itor was once a great large continent, it was unified under one banner and this was of course not a human one. It was the banner of the dragon union, an old and long forgotten union that only the most learned scholars have even heard of and those who have dismiss it as a legend.

When the ancient giants came here from the air plane they started fighting against the dragons and there was a great many casualties on both sides, but in the end the dragons pride and disstrust in eachother was what lended the victory to the giants, though it was a costly one. The giants was on the verge of extiction like the dragons and hid in the mountains where they could regain their strength.

In their extensive war the continet was fractured and the eastern island has not been touch ever since, dubbed "The Dead Island" as no sentient life would flurish there again or so is the legend.

The Faith of Origins

The largest religion in civilized society

The Faith of Origins is the largest religion in the world of Itor, their large pantheon and meaningful message with death makes this religion relate to a lot of the common people of Itor, be they infernal teiflings kids on the streets praying to whoever they remembered or aristocratic humans going to church for Rienna and Raekemis, whether they're working dwarfs mumbling Gerra's name before work or nomadic aarakocras offering to Direna before a hunt there is something for everyone. Despite this large influence the church has made no attempt to influence the political landscape, some think it's because they already have influenced it to their advantage while others believe they are staying true to their word and simply do not interfere with the different kingdoms of Itor.
